Project overview

Energy efficiency upgrades to the historic Coliseum that is being revitalized as a hub for local small businesses owned by people of color, including immigrants, after it was damaged in the civil unrest following the murder of George Floyd. Nonprofit community developer, Redesign, Inc., is partnering with the community and three local Black-owned small businesses to ensure the building, now on the National Register of Historic Places, is a key part of the Longfellow neighborhood’s revitalization.
