Project overview

Colman Yards is a multi-family complex that was built through the conversion of vacant historic industrial buildings in Rockford, IL. The project includes the development of 215 market-rate apartments consisting of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. In addition, the property will also have over 15 thousand square feet of retail space on the ground floor. With the help of C-PACE, the building will be refurbished through masonry repair and window replacement while maintaining its historic look and reducing the heating and cooling loads significantly.
